Invesco Ltd. IVZ-N has signed a deal that will see CI Global Asset Management become the manager of the Invesco Canada family of retail mutual funds and exchange-traded funds.

Financial terms of the transaction were not immediately available.

Under the agreement, CI Investments Inc. CIX-T will acquire the management agreements related to Invesco’s Canadian fund business with combined total assets under management amounting to about $26-billion.

CI will also enter into a long-term arrangement to continue to provide sub-advisory services in respect to certain funds.

The deal is subject to regulatory approvals as well as other customary closing conditions. 

The transaction is expected to close by the end of the second quarter of 2026.
