We witnessed another major moment live from Brossard involving the Montreal Canadiens and forward Patrik Laine.

Let’s begin by talking about the new faces spotted today.

Owen Beck and Kaiden Guhle made their first appearance in Brossard, just a few weeks away from the start of training camp.

Something special is happening within this team.

It’s significant to see so many Canadiens players training together on the ice in the middle of August when absolutely nothing requires them to.

What’s going on with Patrik Laine?

Once again today, Laine was the first one on the ice, and he was the last to leave (along with Owen Beck).

It’s really something-and yes, it’s a big deal for the Montreal Canadiens. Imagine this team if Laine returns to being a star player in the NHL!

Let’s not forget that Laine scored 36 goals in 73 games (in the NHL) at age 18, and 44 goals in 82 games at age 19.

Is Laine working toward scoring 40-45 goals with the Canadiens this season?

It could absolutely change everything for Martin St-Louis’s squad.
