Nikita Klepov scored a goal and added two assists as Team West defeated Team East 4-3 in the Connor McDavid OHL Top Prospects Game on Wednesday.

Klepov, a forward with the Saginaw Spirit, was named top star of the game, which took place at Peterborough Memorial Centre.

Guelph Storm defenceman Rylan Singh also had a multi-point night for the West, picking up a goal and an assist in the victory.

Spirit forward Egor Barabanov and Storm forward Layne Gallacher had the other markers for the West Top Prospects team.

Adam Novotny hit the scoresheet twice to lead Team East in a losing cause.

The Peterborough Petes forward scored in the second and third periods in front of his home fans and was named second star of the game.

Ryder Cali of the North Bay Battalion had the other marker for the East Prospects.

Guelph Storm goaltender Zachary Jovanovski made 19 saves on 21 shots for the West and split time in net with Stepan Shurygin of the Saginaw Spirit, who turned away 15 of the 16 shots he faced.

Ryder Fetterolf of the Ottawa 67s made 12 saves on 15 shots for the East, while Matthew Minchak of the Kingston Frontenacs also spent time between the pipes and stopped 12 of 13 shots.
