Everybody, meet your potential murder victims. Potential murder victims, meet everybody! The cast of The White Lotus season four is taking shape before our very eyes. Chris Messina, best known for his work on The Mindy Project as heartthrob–toxic waste of space Danny (depending on whom you ask), is being offered a role on the show, per Deadline. If he accepts the offer, which would make sense for him to do since this show scored eight acting Emmy nominations last year, he’ll join a cast that also reportedly includes Oscar nominee Helena Bonham Carter. They will be joined by the Hunger Games’s Alexander Ludwig and AJ Michalka of music duo Aly & AJ.
The upcoming season is set in France and is filming at a French castle-hotel called Château de la Messardière. To be fair, Bonham Carter does make sense in an old French castle. Notably, there is no word yet about who the returning cast member will be, if anyone. But if you ask us who from a previous cast would be at home with this group and in a French castle, we’d obviously say Parker Posey. Just imagine the fun she would have pronouncing the two consecutive consonants in cobwebs.
