Police are searching for a suspect they say has smashed the windows of several vehicles in Waterloo to steal items from inside.

Investigators from the Waterloo Regional Police Service have so far received eight reports of such thefts, all from the Albert Street and Columbia Street West area.

And all the thefts occurred between December 16 and 22 last year.

They said these vehicles were broken in to, in both parking lots and underground garages.

Items allegedly stolen from those vehicles include cash, ID’s, jewellery, and even clothing.

Police have released images of a person they need to find in this investigation.
