AJ Styles Teases This Might Be His Last WWE SummerSlam

Is the retirement of AJ Styles coming sooner rather than later?

This afternoon, during the SummerSlam Kickoff Event in New Jersey, The Phenomenal One dropped a bomb on Michael Cole and the WWE Universe that no one saw coming.

“If I’m being honest with you guys, this may be my last SummerSlam,” Styles revealed. “So I plan on tearing the house down one last time at SummerSlam for you guys. It’s just, it’s very important. It’s very special to me. Again, the match with John Cena set the tone for AJ Styles’ career in the WWE. So SummerSlam is very special to me.”

Styles will challenge Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental Championship on night two of WWE SummerSlam on Sunday.
