Premier Tony Wakeham is thanking Prime Minister Mark Carney for “securing relief that matters” by reaching a deal on tariff breaks on certain Canadian exports, including lobster and crab.
The premier says Newfoundland and Labrador is a “significant Canadian seafood exporter to China” and he calls the deal reached yesterday in Beijing “welcome news” for coastal communities.
