PC building enthusiasts will know the value of a can of compressed air when it comes to cleaning gunk out of computers. But honestly, I’m not sure it’s the best solution anymore. I spent my fair share of time dusting my old PC, and I would have killed to have something like Wolfbox’s MegaFlow air dusters to help out.
Wolfbox sent me two versions of its MegaFlow fan to try out, the MegaFlow 100 and 200. The two fans are fairly similar with a few key differences.
First and foremost is the battery. Both fans sport rechargeable batteries, but the MegaFlow 200 features a removable battery. Additional batteries are sold separately, but for heavy users, this is definitely the way to go. Either way, you get a 6,000mAh battery that Wolfbox says can be recharged in just two and a half hours, though the charging speed likely depends on the brick you use.
There are also a few differences with what comes in the box. Both fans come with two small brushes, a charging cable, and nozzle attachments. However, the MegaFlow 100 comes with an one additional nozzle and a wrist strap.

Beyond that, the only other differences are minor aesthetic ones. Both fans offer similar performance. In my testing, the MegaFlow 200 felt like it has slightly stronger airflow, but both air dusters are impressively strong for their size. Moreover, the Wolfbox website lists both dusters as having up to 150,000rpm speeds.
Regardless, both these air dusters can really blow. The first time I turned it on, I was shocked by how much force there was — it actually has a bit of kick, though it’s not hard to control. Part of what impressed me was how much power was packed into the small size. My wife has a similarly-sized portable fan she uses to keep herself cool, but the MegaFlow fans blow way harder.

I’ll also note that the fans can be quite loud, especially at the highest setting. It’s certainly not a deal breaker, but worth taking note of.
Both the MegaFlow 100 and 200 offer three power modes that can be toggled by pressing a button on the back of the handle. The trigger button on the front activates the fans, and it works on a toggle for the lower power levels, allowing you to press once instead of holding the trigger.

Both fans also sport LEDs to indicate battery level — these turn on when you turn on the fan itself. However, I wish the MegaFlow 200 batteries had a separate button to turn on the battery LEDs so I could check the charge of the extra batteries without putting them into the fan.
Overall, both fans work quite well, with impressive blowing force. Coupled with the versatile attachments, both air dusters can tackle several tasks. I had a blast blowing dust and hair out of my mechanical keyboard with them, and dusting my desk as well.

Wolfbox suggests other uses, though not all of them seem that great. For example, it suggests using the fans for blowing up air mattresses (definitely seems like a good idea, though I don’t have an air mattress to test on), as well as blowing leaves and cleaning snow off your car. While the fans can certainly blow leaves, I don’t think it’s the most practical option for leaf blowing. Neither is snow removal, for that matter.
Odd use cases aside, the Wolfbox MegaFlow fans are both solid options for anyone who needs a small but might air duster. It’s been a handy tool for me to clean up my tech, but you can do a ton more with them. I think most people would be more than happy with the lower-cost MegaFlow 100, but if you plan to use it heavily, it might be worth springing for the 200 model and picking up an extra battery as well.

The air dusters are available through the Wolfbox website and on Amazon Canada — I’d recommend the latter as the prices are slightly lower there (though at the time of writing, there were discounts on both sides).
Additionally, Wolfbox shared some exclusive, limited-time discount codes for MobileSyrup readers who purchase through Amazon (however, these discounts don’t stack with the ongoing deals). The codes are as follows:
MegaFlow 100 – 20 per cent off with code WBCAMF100 valid Jan. 16-26.
MegaFlow 200 – 19 per cent off with code WBCAMF200 valid Jan. 20 – Feb. 2.
