South Florida hardcore outfit Powerplay have released a new standalone single titled “Liberosis,” featuring guest vocals from Andrew Neufeld of Comeback Kid.
The band have also indicated that additional new music is planned for later this year in the form of a new EP via Terminus Hate City, with further details to be announced.
The band shared the following:
Liberosis is the first release on our upcoming album “The Complexity of Being Alive”. A lot of the subject matters are focused on that exact subject, the complexity of living every day.
Liberosis is a song about mental health and the pandemic that it has been in this world for decades and decades. It is meant to be anthemic and a rally cry that screams I realize I am a human being and I can only control certain aspects of my life, but my friends are here for me, my family is here for me, and I can only control what I can.
We are also very happy to have Andrew Neufeld of Comeback Kid feature on the track.
Hope everyone likes the preview to our upcoming release on Terminus Hate in late spring 2026
