Okotoks Dawgs alumni Eric Hartman has been listed as the 24th best prospect for the Atlanta Braves in 2026.

He is also listed as the Braves’ prospect with the best defensive outfielding, according to Baseball America.

The rankings are courtesy of Baseball America, who summarizes lists of top prospects for each MLB team ahead of every season.

Hartman was selected by the Atlanta Braves in the 20th round of the 2024 MLB draft. He signed a deal with the organization for $337,500 shortly after and has since been officially a part of the Braves.

The now 19-year-old prospect was a former Holy Trinity Academy student. He was also a key addition to the Okotoks Dawgs’ lineup in 2023; the year the team won the championship.

He remained a fixture in the Dawgs lineup in 2024 up until he was professionally drafted.
