AEW World Champion MJF has announced two new AEW signings following a title defence at an independent show.
Coming off his defence against Bandido at this week’s AEW Dynamite Maximum Carnage show, MJF made history tonight by becoming the first AEW World Champion to defend the title at an independent show.
MJF defended the title against Alec Price at tonight’s Limitless Wrestling Limitless Rumble 2026 event, with MJF retaining the title on the show.
After the match, MJF took to the microphone, where he asked both Price and his partner Jordan Oliver if they were ready to be part of AEW, to which both men accepted, officially joining the company.
Price and Oliver have competed in a number of matches on ROH television over the past few months, with them most recently facing off against CRU on the January 10 ROH tapings.
Price and Oliver join Andrade El Idolo, Jake Doyle (Jake Something), Dezmond Xavier, Myron Reed, Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz as the AEW signings confirmed in 2026 so far.
