Jake Garcia is staying with ThorSport Racing for the 2026 NASCAR Truck Series season; however, it won’t be in the No. 13 truck. Garcia will drive the No. 98 truck for ThorSport Racing during the 2026 Truck Series campaign, the team announced. Meanwhile, Cole Butcher will drive the No. 13 truck full-time instead.

The 20-year-old driver made the 2025 NASCAR playoffs but was eliminated in the Round of 10. It was a successful season for Garcia, but the No. 13 team never made it to victory lane. Now, Garcia joins the No. 98 team, which also didn’t win a race with Ty Majeski in 2025.

Majeski is replacing Matt Crafton in the No. 88 Menards truck, so it left the No. 98 truck with an opening. Instead of giving the No. 98 to a new driver, ThorSport Racing put Garcia in the entry. Garcia hopes that it can bring some more success, as he looks for his first career Truck Series victory.
