SARASOTA, Fla. – The WKU women’s golf team took on No. 49 Ohio State in a dual match in Sarasota, Florida at the Palm Aire Country Club on Monday. The Lady Toppers came up short, 5-1, with Sydney Hatchett taking the lone win for WKU.
NOTABLES
Hackett defeated Nellie Ong with a 3-over score of 75 compared Ong’s 78 (+6).
Reagan Ramage was one stroke off from tying her opponent, Matilde Santilli, with a 75 (+3) compared to Santilli’s 72 (E), which was the best score of the day among all competitors.
Averi Cline finished with a 78 (+6), which was also one stroke away from her opponent.
Leah Edwards and Nina McMurtrey each finished 11-over and Julia Zigrossi carded an 85 (+13) to round out the lineup for WKU.
