DigiPlus Interactive Corp announced on Tuesday a partnership with Filipino boxing star Manny Pacquiao (pictured), and a slate of co-branded online games about “the sporting legend’s journey, resilience, and legacy”.

The first include “Super Ace Pacquiao” and “Boxing King Pacquiao”.

Philippines-listed and -licensed online gaming operator DigiPlus said the partners would “roll out a total of nine titles” across the company’s BingoPlus, ArenaPlus, and GameZone platforms.

It added: “Seven of these games are already live and ready for play, with more titles set to launch in the coming weeks.”

In the Philippines, DigiPlus runs BingoPlus, described as the country’s first government-approved online bingo platform. It also operates ArenaPlus, a sportsbook, and GameZone, a platform for casual and arcade gaming.

The gaming provider said in its latest release that the partnership with Mr Pacquiao “heralds a long-term, content-driven collaboration that goes beyond branding”.

DigiPlus chairman Eusebio H. Tanco was cited as saying in Tuesday’s update: “As the entertainment scene continues to evolve, audiences are seeking more authentic and exciting experiences.”

He added: “This landmark collaboration with revered Filipino sportsman Manny Pacquiao allows us to create something innovative, meaningful, familiar, and truly local.”

DigiPlus said the offer “deeply integrates Pacquiao’s most well-loved moments, Filipino traits, and symbols into each game’s mechanics and visual design”.

The aim is to “deliver an entertainment experience that resonates with Filipino players”, the firm added.

Super Ace Pacquiao is said to have 1,024 ways to win and payouts that can reach up to 10,000 times.

The Boxing King Pacquiao title is described as an action-driven slot game built around 88 paylines, and wins of up to 2,000 times. It also features free games, free spins, and multipliers.
