Murray-Boyles suffered the injury in Sunday’s loss to the Los Angeles Lakers when Luka Doncic hit his thumb while going for a steal. He had already started Sunday’s game with a wrap around his left thumb, which he’s had since suffering an initial issue on Dec. 15 against the Miami Heat.
The 20-year-old rookie has established himself as a key contributor with plenty of bodies out for Toronto. Through 37 games this season, he is averaging 7.8 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.0 assists.
At 25-19, the Raptors sit fourth in the Eastern Conference.
