A native of Moncalieri, Lucca was technically on loan with Napoli from Udinese with a €26 million purchase obligation.

He’s appeared in 23 matches across all competitions this season, scoring twice. Lucca had 12 goals in 33 Serie A appearances for Udinese last season.

Internationally, the 6-foot-7 Lucca has been capped five times by the Azzurri after making his senior debut in the fall of 2024.

With two matches remaining in the first phase, Forest sits 11th in Europa League on 11 points. They visit seventh-place Braga later on Thursday.

At home, Forest is struggling this season. Sean Dyche’s side is in 17th place, the final safe spot, and only five points clear of the drop zone. They return to Premier League action on Sunday with a visit to seventh-place Brentford.
