The Orlando Storm released tight end J.J. Galbreath on Thursday according to the UFL Transactions page.

J.J. Galbreath is six foot four and weighs 240 pounds. The 24-year-old from Arvada, Colorado, was drafted by the Orlando Storm in the 2026 UFL Draft.

The Pittsburgh Steelers signed Galbreath as an undrafted free agent on May 9, 2025. In 2025, Galbreath made three catches for 23 yards in three preseason games. The Steelers released him on August 25, 2025. They re-signed him to the practice squad on August 27, 2025. The Steelers released him again on September 16, 2025.

Collegiately, Galbreath spent four seasons at the University of South Dakota (2021-24) with 93 catches for 1,355 yards, 12 touchdowns, one kick return for three yards, and one tackle in 45 games for the Coyotes.

In 2023, he was an All-MVFC Honorable Mention after finishing the season with a career-high 36 catches for 579 yards and five touchdowns in 13 games. In 2024, he was named First Team All-MVFC and First Team FCS All-American after finishing the season with 32 catches for 469 yards and four touchdowns.
