It… moreThere is no capacity regulation on batteries for European market. It’s the battery technology and even that is not regulated. It’s only the shipping companies that stay away from some specific battery technology cause they have had a lot of containers go on fire cause of some specific battery technology and it’s not good when your ship or plane goes on fire when transporting.

F8 can come with SnapDragon 8 Gen 3 or 4 that be on par with the Dimensity 9500e
There is no rule that F series need to be better then X series like the best X series needs to be weaker then F series base.
2.5 years ago come out Poco F5 and then half a year later come X6 Pro that beat the F5 in performance a lot with also better screen and more operation system updates.
F5 already made a performance jump with 7+ gen 2 over SD 870
But X6 Pro made even crazier jump from X5 Pro SD 778 to D8300 that was performing better then 7+ gen 2
Just like M8 Pro now is with 7s gen 4 and should be better then what base X8 will be even tough Poco M series is cheaper then X series.
They can have different features for F8 like metal frame over X series plastic frame and maybe some more premium features like even better cameras then the X series have

What would the Poco F8 be then if there was a… moreI originally planned it out that the RN15Pro would be a Poco M8+, the base X8 would be the RT5, the X8 Pro/Max would be the RT5Max and there wouldn’t be a base F8, I guess I was overthinking it and the lineup’s probably gonna look the same as last year.

It’s been a year and a half since the phone battery boom and Europe still hasn’t updated it’s transport regulations, yet keeps wanting to pretend they are trying to stay competitive in the tech market.
Pretty easy to stay competitive if you scuff battery sizes due to regulation, when you know for a fact that only your competitors actually make an effort for batteries.

The X8 Pro Max sounds more like a Poco F8 to me. What would the Poco F8 be then if there was an X8 Pro Max? And now that the Poco M8 Pro is the Redmi Note 15 Pro+, what is the standard X8 going to be? A new phone? I have doubts. Unless there’s a Turbo 5e or something, would it just be a rebrand of last year’s Poco X7 Pro? Doesn’t sound like it would be that either. I’m confused.
