JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – North Florida women’s tennis women’s tennis remained undefeated to start its spring season, defeating Troy, 4-3, at UNF Tennis Complex on Saturday.

In doubles action, freshman May Fadida and sophomore Aryana Bartlett secured a win on Court 3, 6-4. Senior Jasmin Makela and sophomore Gabby Goyins clinched the doubles point for North Florida on Court 5, 6-4.

Trailing 2-1 in the match, Goyins delivered a timely singles win for North Florida on Court Four, 6-1, 6-0. Makela put UNF ahead, 3-2, with a dominant win on Court 6, 6-1, 6-4. 

Senior Anslee Long was sensational down the stretch, clinching the match-winning point for North Florida with a clutch singles victory on Court 5, 7-5, 6-7, 6-3.
