WWE Name Misses Saturday Night’s Main Event Due To Weather Issues

WWE

A WWE name has missed tonight’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event show due to ongoing weather issues in Canada.

Ahead of tonight’s Saturday Night’s Main Event show in Montreal, Canada, it was reported that WWE had made some backup plans for the coming days due to ongoing concerns in regards to the weather.

The first of these changes was present immediately, as Stephanie McMahon was shown hosting tonight’s show alone, with her hosting partner Joe Tessitore unable to make the show due to the ongoing weather issues.

Stephanie and Tessitore were the hosts of the previous edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13, which saw John Cena compete in his retirement match in Washington DC.

Tonight’s show is set to feature four matches, including a four-way main event between Sami Zayn, Randy Orton, Trick Williams and Damian Priest to determine the challenger for Drew McIntyre’s WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble.

The match between Cody and Jacob never ended up getting underway, with the two brawling around the arena before the bell rang.

We will provide any updates on any other changes made as they become available.
