“If I were Kent Hughes, I would want to know what the Rangers’ intentions are, and not for Artemi Panarin, and not for Alexi Lafreniere, but for a player that I think they have on their team that would be the best possible guy that the Canadians could get for this year and moving forward.

I’m not sure the Rangers are even willing to listen on the player. But for me, Will Cuylle is the number one guy I would go after if I were Kent Hughes… He’s big, he’s strong, and I think he plays on the top nine, which is perfect, but I also think he’s got the potential to move up in the top six.

I think what he is, is bringing exactly what the Canadiens would need in a specific portion of their lineup, and that’s why you’re hearing about Blake Coleman or Kiefer Sherwood, and I think he’s just a younger version of that…

I think the Canadiens are in a position of strength to be able to do something like that without giving up necessarily their best prospects to do it either. So, I’m just saying, I would be power dialling. I would be, what do you want? And, we can make it work. And potentially, you know, you’re dealing away a guy like Bolduc as part of that package.”
