Justin Gaethje became a two-time UFC interim lightweight champion after he defeated Paddy Pimblett in their championship match at UFC 324’s headliner on Jan. 24, which went down at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
“The Highlight” defied the UFC betting odds and scored a unanimous decision victory over “The Baddy” over five rounds with a striking masterclass. The two MMA superstars bagged the highest estimated total payout from the card with $2.8 million and $1.5 million, respectively.
This back-and-forth fight earned them an additional $100,000 for the Fight of the Night bonus. Meanwhile, Josh Hokit and Ty Miller secured the Performance of the Night bonuses with their respective victories.
