Environment Canada has issued a snow squall watch for areas surrounding Lake Ontario, including the Quinte region.

Snow squalls are expected to begin on Tuesday morning and continue into the afternoon, both south of and along the Highway 401 corridor.

Significantly reduced visibility is expected, due to blowing and falling snow.  Up to 10cm of snow is expected.

Drivers are warned that travel may be hazardous, and to be prepared for rapidly changing conditions.
