2027 could be a year of great change in Formula 1’s driver market as a new pecking order forms and some teams become more (or less) attractive.

So below you’ll find the confirmed seats for F1 2027 so far.

McLarenLando Norris
Oscar Piastri

Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri have both inked long-term deals with McLaren that should keep them both at the team until at least the end of 2027 – and in Piastri’s car, the end of 2028.

George Russell and Kimi Antonelli were only confirmed for 2026 in October 2025, and nothing beyond 2026 was communicated within that announcement, although The Race understands both drivers have multi-year deals with various options that can be triggered for extensions.

Red BullMax Verstappen
TBC

Back in 2022, Max Verstappen signed a deal to keep him at Red Bull until 2028, though there are potential options for him to exit before then – with one exit clause for 2026 that could be activated if Verstappen isn’t in the top two in the drivers’ championship before the middle of the year.

Verstappen’s new 2026 team-mate Isack Hadjar doesn’t have a deal beyond this year.

It’s been rumoured that the deal will last until the end of 2029, though there is a break clause after 2027.

Whether Lewis Hamilton remains beyond his second year at Ferrari in 2026 remains to be seen.
