PORTLAND, Ore. — The WNBA is back in Portland starting this May, and we’re getting a look at the team’s new jerseys!

The Portland Fire revealed two new looks for its WNBA players on Wednesday, both of which draw inspiration from the Rose City and its basketball fans.

The team will be donning a white base uniform called the Nike Heroine Edition, as well as a red Nike Explorer Edition.

The jerseys both borrow elements from the Fire’s PDX logo, which they say is “inspired by the Willamette River that flows through the heart of the city, representing strength and connection.”

“Our 2026 jerseys are an embodiment this new era of the team: bold, innovative, and resilient,” said Portland Fire Senior Vice President of Marketing & Communications, Kimberly Veale. “Every element was shaped with Portland in mind, honoring our legacy, while capturing the spirit and energy of this incredible city we represent. As we prepare for our debut season in May, our athletes, and fans alike, will embody that ethos when wearing a Fire jersey.”

The Fire franchise was rekindled from a three-season run in the early 2000s, and marks the WNBA’s expansion to 15 teams.
