UFC 325 fight week is here. After the opening show of the UFC’s 2026 schedule took place stateside last weekend, Dana White’s promotion wastes little time getting back into action as the first month of the year draws to a close.
UFC 325 will serve as the second week of three in a row with UFC action before the organization takes a bye week for the Valentine’s Day holiday on the night of Feb. 14. This week, the fabled Octagon treks to the Southern Hemisphere, where it’ll already be well into Sunday, Feb. 1 when the fights begin.
Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena is the setting for the second flagship show in as many weeks from MMA’s No. 1 promotion in the world to kick off the year. Live coverage begins Saturday afternoon at 5 pm ET/ 2 pm PT on the UFC’s new streaming home, Paramount Plus, with the early prelims. This portion of the show will be simulcast on UFC Fight Pass.
Late prelims follow at 7 pm ET/ 4 pm PT on Paramount Plus before the five-fight main card caps the night at 9 pm ET/ 6 pm PT. If there are no adjustments to be made to the itinerary, the final version of UFC 325 will feature a slate of 14 contests this weekend.
UFC 325 Featured Prelim: Junior Tafa vs. Billy Elekana
At the top of the bill for the undercard, the light heavyweights take to the cage when Junior Tafa (6-4 MMA,2-4 UFC) fights Billy Elekana (9-2 MMA, 2-1 UFC.) All fights mentioned herein are an advertised three rounds at five minutes per round.
Tafa will be making his seventh walk to the Octagon at UFC 325 on Saturday night having posted a record of 2-3 in his last five contests. Last time out, he was on the receiving end of a second-round arm-triangle choke submission from Tuco Tokkos (11-5 MMA, 1-2 UFC) in Atlanta on June 12.
A planned fight versus Ibo Aslan in Perth at the end of September never materialized due to the former sustaining an injury. Tafa has had close to eight months away from the cage as a result, but now, with a clean bill of health afforded to him, how will he fare in UFC 325?
Across the way, Billy Elekana is 4-1 over the past five contests. He’s now been on the active roster in the UFC for one year and has won two fights in succession. Back on Nov. 1, he scored a first-round submission (rear-naked choke) victory over Kevin Christian (9-3 MMA, 0-1 UFC) in the latter’s UFC promotional debut.
He’s proven impressive in the early days of his UFC career. Can he keep it up on Saturday night?
UFC 325 Co-Featured Prelim: Cam Rowston vs. Cody Brundage
The co-featured undercard bout at UFC 325 on Saturday night occurs at 185 lbs. Cam Rowston (13-3 MMA, 1-0 UFC) clashes with Cody Brundage (11-7-1, 1 NC MMA, 5-6-1, 1 NC UFC) in the former’s sophomore UFC appearance. Rowston comes into his second fight in the company with a mark of 5-0 in his last five treks to the cage. On Sept. 27, he made his first walk to the Octagon by finishing Andre Petroski (13-5 MMA, 8-4 UFC) inside the first round.
Rowston made his UFC debut one month after winning his contract by way of Contender Series in the summer of 2025, but can he go 2-for-2 in the promotion? Tune in and find out.
Meanwhile, Cody Brundage will be making the walk Saturday on the strength of a 1-2-1 record with one no-contest over the last five bouts. Back on Aug 9, he lost to Eric McConico (10-4-1 MMA, 1-2 UFC) by split decision at the now-Meta Apex in Enterprise, NV. Brundage hasn’t won in close to a year, so will he get back into victory lane on Saturday?
UFC 325: Jacob Malkoun vs. Torrez Finney
Also on the UFC 325 undercard this coming weekend, more middleweight action happens as Jacob Malkoun (8-3 MMA, 4-3 UFC) meets Torrez Finney (11-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC.) Malkoun enters this Saturday’s event with a record of 3-2 over the course of his last five fights.
It’s been a long while since he’s had the chance to make the walk, however. To find the last time he fought in the fabled Octagon, you’d need to set the time machine to March 30, 2024. That night, he stopped the aforementioned Andre Petroski with ground and pound in under a minute inside round two upon a collision.
Canceled contests have been a recurring theme for Malkoun and his camp. Out of his last five scheduled bouts in the cage, three were postponed without a punch being thrown.
By the time UFC 325 begins on Saturday, 22 months and one day will have passed since Malkoun last set foot in the Octagon. What has he done to shake off the ring rust?
In the other corner, Torrez Finney will, much like Cam Rowston in the co-featured prelim, be making his sophomore UFC appearance on Saturday. He’s gone undefeated thus far in his professional career.
Last April, he made his UFC debut a successful one thanks to a split decision victory over Robert Valentin (10-6, 1 NC MMA, 0-3 UFC.) This is a man who needed to go on Contender Series three times before he finally secured his contract in the promotion. How will he do on Saturday? Only time will tell.
Rest of the Prelims:
The UFC 325 undercard is rounded off by the following fights:
