The Winnipeg Blue Bombers made a major addition to their offence on Wednesday, signing All-CFL wide receiver Tim White to a one-year contract.
White, 31, spent the past five seasons with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. He caught 84 passes for 1,016 yards and seven touchdowns in 18 games a season ago.
He has eclipsed 1,000 yards receiving each of the past four seasons, with his career high coming in 2023, when he reeled in 75 passes for 1,269 yards and eight touchdowns.
White, who went to school at Arizona State, is a three-time All-CFL player (2022, 2023, 2024) and four-time East Division All-CFL player (2021-24).
Over his five-year CFL career, White has appeared in 83 games – all starts – and amassed 383 catches for 5,488 yards and 33 touchdowns.
White joined the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of college in 2017, and also had stints with the New York Jets (2019) and New Orleans Saints (2019-20) of the NFL before making the trip up north to join the CFL.
The Blue Bombers ranked worst in the CFL at 23.5 passing yards per game in 2025 – partially because top receiver Dalton Schoen appeared in just five games – and White will factor heavily into a return to form for the offence under head coach Mike O’Shea.
