“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Night” brought shell-shocking surprises to The Masked Singer, as the Fox competition celebrated 40 years of the iconic franchise with nostalgic performances and a twist the series has truly never seen before.
Host Nick Cannon welcomed viewers back alongside judges Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Rita Ora, and Ken Jeong for a night packed with turtle-powered fun, all-new performances, and a major shake-up to the competition.
While one new mask entered the race for the Golden Mask, another would make a stunning decision that changed the course of the competition.
Meet the wildcard: 14 Karat Carrot
The second wildcard of Season 14 made his flashy debut as the 14 Karat Carrot.
In his clue package, the masked singer reflected on a troubled past, hinting at hitting rock bottom and being “locked away” before turning his life around for the sake of his family. Framing his journey around growth and accountability, he declared, “Justice really is the balance between the carrot and the stick.”
For his performance, 14 Karat Carrot delivered a soulful rendition of “Hold On, I’m Comin’” by Sam & Dave, bringing classic Stax/Motown-style energy and confident swagger to the stage.
When it came time for guesses, Robin Thicke leaned into the clues and suggested Otis Williams of The Temptations, while Rita Ora tossed out Verdine White of Earth, Wind & Fire. Ken Jeong, meanwhile, drew laughs and boos alike after dramatically (and tearfully) guessing Morgan Freeman.
Elimination
As Nick prepared to reveal which contestant had received the fewest votes, the night took an unexpected turn when Queen Corgi interrupted the ceremony.
“I am officially withdrawing from the competition,” she announced, leaving both the host and the panel visibly stunned.
“This has never happened before,” Nick responded. “Is everything okay?”
Queen Corgi assured him that it was, explaining that her decision came from personal reflection rather than defeat.
“I just feel my time has come,” she said. “I’ve learned so much about myself, but my time is up. There are so many amazing contestants. I want them to have the best experience, so I am bowing out.”
With that emotional announcement, Cat Witch, Stingray, Galaxy Girl, and 14 Karat Carrot were declared safe.
Without allowing the panelists to offer a final round of guesses, Queen Corgi removed her mask on her own terms — revealing herself as Claudia Oshry and closing out “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Night” with one of the most shocking moments in Masked Singer history.
