One of the uniforms Portland will don is the WNBA Nike Heroine Edition. White is the main color of the Heroine Edition jersey and the team name of ‘Fire’ will be displayed across it to symbolize “the city’s passion for the team,” as per a press release from fire.wnba.com.

Another one of the Fire’s debut season jerseys is the WNBA Nike Explorer Edition, which are the team’s red base uniforms.

Portland have also shared their team’s PDX secondary logos. One of this logo’s main features is that: “The body of the “P” and the “D” is inspired by the Willamette River that flows through the heart of the city.”

This particular feature of the PDX logo has also influenced the Heroine and Explorer edition uniforms, as the side tape of both jerseys also resemble the logo and flow of the Willamette River.

“Every element was shaped with Portland in mind, honoring our legacy, while capturing the spirit and energy of this incredible city we represent.”
