Jake Doyle sustained a torn biceps injury on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite during his World Tag Team Championship bout.

Midway through the match, Doyle took an apron DDT from Cash Wheeler. Although the exact moment isn’t fully confirmed, the injury appeared to happen when Doyle held onto the top rope while landing on the apron with the added pressure seemingly tearing his biceps.

Doyle was also heard calling out the injury and it was later confirmed by our Bryan Alvarez. No official statement has been shared on the injury.

The match saw Davis and Doyle unsuccessfully challenge facing FTR for the titles. It was Doyle’s third match in AEW in his second run.

The 36-year-old Doyle, previously known as Jake Something, recently signed with AEW after several years in TNA.

Shortly after his debut, he found himself a part of the Don Callis Family in a tag team with Davis.

Jake Something appears to have suffered a legit injury during this spot tonight.

You can hear him tell Cash, “I just tore my bicep”

Best wishes to him.https://t.co/z1AEwllmpw
