The update provides future-proof connectivity with modern smartphones, tablets, PCs, and gaming consoles. This comes at a time when the older 3.5mm standard is becoming less ubiquitous.
Both models are compatible with iOS, Android, ChromeOS, macOS, Windows, and SteamOS. Similarly, both devices feature a microphone for calls and sport an identical form factor to their predecessors. However, fashion-conscious buyers may be disappointed with the singular Black color variant. Likewise, both devices sacrifice advanced features, such as active noise cancellation, spatial audio, and integrated voice assistants, for a cheaper price tag.
