Calling all Toronto sports fans! The Toronto Maple Leafs and Raptors have just announced they are hosting an exclusive opportunity for fans to connect with the teams over two interactive events this March. 

According to the announcement on Thursday, both teams are about to host a Fan Day, filled with exclusive giveaways, contests, interactive on-ice and on-court player showcases, special guest and alumni appearances, and more. 

Following their first Fan Day last year, the Toronto Raptors are hosting their second annual fan-centered event on Mar. 16 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Scotiabank Arena. 

The event will include a dynamic skills and drills challenge with Raptors players and interactive activities for fans, including on-course contests alongside players, surprise competitions and photo activations. 

During the Fan Day, team merchandise will also be at a special price, with exclusive concession deals available. 

“It’s a chance for our guys to be a bit more relaxed, have a bit more fun, and I love that we get to show this side of our team to our loyal Raptors fans,” Raptors Head Coach Darko Rajakovic said in a statement. 

MAPLE LEAFS FAN DAY

Following the Raptors, the Maple Leafs will host their very first Fan Day, which is set to take place on Mar. 19 between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., also at Scotiabank Arena. 

The event will be filled with on and off-ice entertainment, including a 3v3 competition with players and on-ice showcase with the Toronto Sceptres. Fans will also have the opportunity to meet and interact with former Leafs players Wendel Clark, Darcy Tucker, Darryl Sittler and Curtis Joseph. 

Throughout Fan Day, Leafs merchandise will be 20 per cent off at Real Sports Apparel, with some items being offered at reduced prices. 

Leafs Head Coach Craig Berube said in a statement that the event is a way to thank fans for their support. 

“Leafs Fan Day gives us an opportunity to connect with [fans] in a different way and say thank you. We’re excited to be part of an event that celebrates both our team and Leafs Nation,” he said.

HOW TO ATTEND

Fans can now access both Fan Day events through the teams’ newly-launched platform Fan Access that includes exclusive content, tickets, special experiences, and more. 

Tickets to both events are also available through the “Superfan” package in the app.
