Rachel McAdams made a glittering entrance at the London premiere of her new film Send Help. On Thursday, she graced the red carpet in a sleeveless gown that looked as if it were made of molten metal.
The Mean Girls star’s shiny shift also featured sneaky hip- and ribcage-baring cutouts, which could only be seen from the side. McAdams accessorized with a diamond-encrusted necklace, while her highlighted tresses were done in Old Hollywood-inspired waves. As for makeup, she wore a mauve lip, shimmery eyeshadow, and a pinch of pink blush.

Earlier this month, McAdams made her first public appearance alongside her partner of nearly a decade. On January 20, Jamie Linden accompanied McAdams as she received her star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame. For the occasion, she sported a strapless top featuring a polarizing trend: peplum.
McAdams added on a complementary butter yellow midiskirt, completing her look with stiletto mules. She wore her highlighted tresses in bouncy waves, while her makeup consisted of pink blush and a rosy mauve lip.
Despite their decade-long relationship, McAdams and Linden have never walked a red carpet together. They share two children—a son born in 2018 and a daughter born in 2020—whose names haven’t been revealed to the public.

“I want to keep his life private, even if mine isn’t,” McAdams told the Sunday Times following the birth of her first child.
In the same interview, McAdams called motherhood “the greatest thing” that’s ever happened to her.
“Everything about it is interesting and exciting and inspiring to me,” she said. “Even the tough days–there’s something delightful about them.”
“People say your life is not your own anymore, but I had 39 years of me,” McAdams added. “I was sick of me. I was so happy to put the focus on some other person.”
