Weather and road conditions have caused the cancellation of the Boxing Saskatchewan provincials in Swift Current this weekend.
“Unfortunately, due to road conditions provincials in Swift are canceled,” said Kenneth Blohm of the Sandhills Boxing Club on their Facebook page.
The boxing club had been set to host over 30 fights between Saturday night and Sunday afternoon at the Living Sky Casino.
Freezing rain conditions closed several highways across Saskatchewan this morning.
There is no word yet on if and when the event could be rescheduled.
