Sigma Performance Services was supposed to race in the NASCAR O’Reilly Series; however, there has been a shocking turn of events. AM Racing announced its intentions to race in the O’Reilly Series after a sale with Sigma Performance Services was not finalized and then terminated.
There were no indications that a move like this was coming, but Sigma Performance Services has now lost out on an opportunity. Following the news, Sigma Performance Services made a statement on the situation.
“Recent announcements were made regarding the termination of the SPS planned NASCAR O’Reilly’s Auto Parts Series program participation,” the team said in a statement. “While SPS’s participation in this program was halted effective January 28th, 2026, SPS will continue to support the smooth and effective transition of this competition program in full cooperation with AM Racing.”
Sigma Performance Services plans to focus its attention on its ARCA and late model programs throughout the 2026 season. This is a shocking development for Sigma Performance Services, but AM Racing will now focus on its O’Reilly Series program in 2026.
