Dr. David Ogbueli, the Senior Pastor of Dominion City Church, Lagos, has revealed that he once subscribed to the usage of herbal remedies to ensure mutual satisfaction with his wife, Pastor Sarah Ogbueli, but would not subscribe to having four rounds of sex like a teenager.

This was as the cleric advised men to take practical steps—including using herbs or medical aids if necessary—to ensure they can satisfy their wives, viewing it as an act of love and duty rather than a taboo subject.

Dr. Ogbueli made this known during his marriage seminars, emphasising that husbands have a responsibility to meet the needs of their wives within the marital covenant.

In a video seen by The Eagle Online, the cleric emphasised that marriage is intended to provide friendship and emotional connection.

He said failure to meet a partner’s needs can violate the marital covenant.

He also warned that neglecting these duties or having a fractured relationship can hinder a couple’s prayers, as husbands and wives are “joint heirs of the grace of life”.

Ogbueli said when he was younger, he had a friend from the North whose father was married to several wives.

He said from wondering and asking questions, he was told that there are certain herbs in the North that aids sexual satisfaction by men.

He said he waved it off at the time, saying he is a pastor.

However, by the time he turned 50, he said he enquired from his friend about the herbs.

After asking him if he was not a pastor, he was assisted.
