Political pins are officially the hottest accessory at the 2026 Grammys. On Sunday, stars including Justin and Hailey Bieber, Kehlani, Billie Eilish, and Brandi Carlile affixed “ICE Out” buttons to their red carpet ensembles to show solidarity with ongoing protests against Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
President Donald Trump’s mass deportation policy has separated children from their families, and two demonstrators were shot and killed by ICE officers in Minneapolis, Minnesota within the past month, prompting a series of protests across the nation.

The “ICE Out” pins, first spotted at the 2026 Golden Globes in January, are part of a campaign organized by “a coalition of entertainment industry professionals,” backed by the American Civil Liberties Union, MoveOn, Maremoto, Working Families Power, the National Domestic Workers Alliance, and more, per Teen Vogue.
Activists are calling for ICE’s powers to be reigned in, including their funding, as well as the agency’s removal.
Some attendees at the Golden Globes also wore “Be Good” pins to honor Renée Macklin Good, a woman killed by an ICE officer in Minneapolis, and Keith Porter Jr., who was shot dead by an off-duty ICE officer in Los Angeles on New Year’s Eve, “while also reminding us what it means to be good to one another in the face of such horror—to be a good citizen, neighbor, friend, ally and human,” per a statement from the #BeGood campaign quoted in the New York Times.

Mark Ruffalo, Wanda Sykes, and Jean Smart of Hacks were among those wearing “Be Good” pins at the Globes.
Wearing pins that represent political causes on the red carpet is nothing new: Ruffalo and many other celebrities, including Bridgerton’s Nicola Coughlan, have worn Artists4Ceasefire pins in recent months as part of a movement to end the genocide in Gaza.
