Paramount on Monday dropped its Super Bowl ad for Scream 7, the latest incarnation of the horror franchise that opens nationwide in theaters February 27.

As part of the reveal today, the studio also said that there will be a opening-night fan screening event February 26 beginning at 6 p.m., including screenings at participating Imax locations — a first for the franchise.

The event also includes engagements at Dolby Cinema, 4DX, ScreenX, MX4D and Cinemark XD among other big-screen formats.

The Dimension/Spyglass Media film, which returns Neve Campbell to the Scream scene, reveals that a new Ghostface killer has emerged in the quiet town where Sidney Prescott (Campbell) has built a new life, and the killer’s target is her daughter (Isabel May).

“Hello Sydney,” says the familiar voice over the phone in the ad spot, which runs 60 seconds. “I’m gonna make everyone you love suffer — while you watch.”

Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding, Anna Camp, David Arquette, Michelle Randolph, Jimmy Tatro, Mckenna Grace, Asa Germann, Celeste O’Connor, Sam Rechner, Mark Consuelos and Tim Simons also star, with Matthew Lillard, Joel McHale and Courteney Cox also appearing.

Original Scream writer Kevin Williamson directs this one from a a screenplay by Williamson and Guy Busick, with story by James Vanderbilt & Guy Busick based on characters created by Williamson.
