Chrisean Rock will soon make her boxing debut against a woman who’s no stranger to the ring.
As reported by TMZ, the reality television star is scheduled to fight against wrestler Zenith Zion in a televised match on April 25. The fight will be a three-round event at Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino in Chester, Pennsylvania, along with being available on pay-per-view on Triller. Zion, who hails from Philadelphia, formerly held the AWA Women’s Television Championship and was selected out of 5,824 women for the chance to spar with Rock.
“Be prepared, Chrisean, because I’m coming to kick your ass,” Zion said while throwing punches in a promo clip.
The Baddies star signed to the boxing division of XRumble Fighting Championships earlier this month and was reported to be working with Calvin Ford, the former trainer of Gervonta Davis.
“Beyond grateful… my first boxing deal is finally done,” Rock said in an announcement.
Rock teased her boxing skills during a training session with Ryan Garcia last December, where she was accidentally struck during a livestream. The welterweight boxer said he “didn’t mean” to hit the media personality, who laughed it off and wanted to get back to fighting.
In Rock-related boxing news, her ex-boyfriend, Blueface, has offered to avenge podcaster Adam22 in a fight with adult entertainer Jason Luv. Earlier this month, Adam lost in a one-round and 73-second bout against Jason, who’s performed with his wife, Lena the Plug.
Tickets for the April event are available now.
