From shocking slip-ups to history-making wins, the 68th Annual Grammy Awards had no shortage of moments that lit up timelines and group chats.

Whether it was a nearly naked performance, an awkward onstage mistake, or a groundbreaking victory, here are the top five moments that had the internet shook.

Justin Bieber gives an almost-bare performance

Justin Bieber returned to the Grammy stage for the first time in four years for a stripped down performance of “YUKON” – literally. The Stratford-born singer performed in nothing but boxers and socks, draped with a guitar around his body.

Online, tons of people are reacting to his interesting outfit choice.

“I have been a Justin Bieber fan forever. I am very confused by the fact that he is performing in boxers,” one person on X said.

“Justin Bieber performing in boxers was not on my bingo card,” another said.

Cher’s ROTY fumble

Pop legend Cher announced the winner for the Record of the Year. Unfortunately, the recipient she named has been dead for more than 20 years. The award was actually meant for Kendrick Lamar and SZA for their hit song “Luther,” but the 79-year-old singer initially called out the late singer who the song is named after and sampled of, Luther Vandross, who died in 2005.

Billie Eilish takes home Song of the Year for “WILDFLOWER”

Billie Eilish’s “WILDFLOWER” took home the coveted SOTY, and reaction has been mixed. The song was released as part of her 2024 album Hit Me Hard and Soft, which lost all five of its nominations at the 2025 Grammys. Weeks later, Eilish released the song as a single, making it eligible to compete (and win) in this year’s season, and has now set a record for her and her brother, Finneas, for the most wins in the Song of the Year category.

“How is this even possible? the album came out two years ago,” one X user questioned.

“Much deserved winning after they robbed her from Best Album last year,” another fan wrote on X.

Trevor Noah’s joke about Nicki Minaj

Comedian and Grammy host Trevor Noah’s jokes about Nicki Minaj’s schmoozing with U.S. President Donald Trump landed caused the entire Crypto.com Arena to erupt with laughter. Notably, model Chrissy Teigen, actor Jeff Goldblum, and singer Jennifer Hudson were caught chuckling in the audience, but it doesn’t seem like the New York rapper is taking it lightly, with a night full of angry X posts directed at various people in the industry, including Noah.

Bad Bunny makes history with Album of the Year win

A tearful Bad Bunny ran up on stage to accept his Album of the Year win for Debí Tirar Más Fotos, making history as the first-ever non-English album to win the award. The Puerto Rican singer took time to call out ICE and advocate for Latin people.

Bad Bunny says “ICE OUT” at the #Grammys and receives a massive standing ovation:

“We are not savage, we are not animals, we are not aliens, we are humans and we are Americans. The hate gets more powerful with more hate. The only thing that is more powerful than hate is love.… pic.twitter.com/IFzvguqdCR
