MONTREAL — The Montreal Alouettes announced on Monday they have released American receiver/returner James Letcher Jr. and American offensive lineman Jamar McGloster.

Letcher Jr. spent three seasons in Montreal, appearing in 30 games with the Alouettes.

According to a report by 3DownNation’s Justin Dunk on Sunday, Letcher Jr. has reportedly agreed to terms with the Saskatchewan Roughriders during the CFL’s Free Agency Communication Window.

Overall, Letcher Jr. tallied 127 punt returns for 1,744 yards and two touchdowns, adding 70 more kickoff returns for 1,680 yards.

McGloster spent three years in Montreal and appeared in 25 games with the team.
