Mike Perry and David Feldman have teased a massive matchup to come in BKFC, and a former multi-time titleholder in the promotion has pondered who might be next to fight ‘Platinum’. Mike Richman is the combatant in question and the former BKFC interim as well as lineal light heavyweight champ battles Joe Elmore at BKFC KnuckleMania VI on February 7th.
Touching on some recent loose alluding to the fact that there’s some big fight they’re going to announce soon for Perry in Florida against a huge name, ‘The Marine’ was mulling over what matchup could potentially be getting lined up next for the King of Violence, as Richman said [via Bare Knuckle Bowker],

“Yeah, I mean [Mike] Perry, we all know he wants the big money fights, rightfully so. So, you got to look at the landscape of like, alright, who’s not under a UFC contract or what? Who could he fight? You know, is it Darren Till at bare knuckle? Who knows? I mean, is Nate Diaz still under contract? I mean, he has many options of like big name value outside of the current roster in BKFC.”

“He has many options and he can be like, “Show me the money.” So, we’ll see. You know, we all get on our own path. You know, there’s times in hindsight I’m like, “F**k, dude.” Like, I could have had the bare knuckle world at my fingertips, too. But we take little missteps, falter here and there. We just try to get back up and climb again to the top.”

Mike Perry will fight his biggest name “times 5”, per David Feldman

Mike Perry has bested big names in BKFC like Eddie Alvarez, Luke Rockhold, and Michael ‘Venom’ Page, but the promotional figurehead has teased a matchup to come that will eclipse that entire gloveless ledger.

Addressing that subject in an interview with MMA Fighting, David Feldman stated,

“We’re probably targeting right around the May area. It’s a huge name. It will be the biggest name that he [Mike Perry] ever fought times five. Huge name. It’s going to be unbelievable.”

“We’re going to do a fight here in Florida. Like I told you we’re going to break combat sports records, we’re going to break the combat sports record in Florida come May. 100 percent.”

“A name everybody knows. Everybody’s going to be a little surprised by it. But it’s a big name and it’s going to be a big event down here. Mike’s from down here so we want to do a homecoming with him. It’s going to be a huge, huge name here in the Orlando area. It’s going to be big.”
