Let the NBA trade deadline madness continue.
On Wednesday, a multi-team trade took place, with Chris Paul being sent to the Raptors.
After months of not playing with the Clippers following a fallout with the team, Paul was moved to Toronto, but questions still are being asked about CP3’s future.
Is Chris Paul going to play again this season?
The answer seems to be complicated.
Reports suggest Paul will be waived, as the trade was mainly done to shed salary for Toronto and get them out of the tax.

Paul announced before this season started that he expected this year to be his last season in the NBA, and he now waits to see what is next for him.
Paul’s last game played this season was on 12/1, over two months ago.
If Paul does get waived, there’s a chance he could get signed by a contender/other team.
Having a veteran guard like Paul is something I’m sure teams will value, so there’s still potentially a market for Paul, as he could be signed by a new team when the Raptors eventually waive him.
