UFC Vegas 113 fight week is here. On the eve of this year’s Super Bowl in Santa Clara, CA, MMA’s No. 1 promotion in the world delivers action that hits harder than any quarterback sack. The renamed Meta Apex in Enterprise, NV plays host to the first UFC Fight Night on the 2026 schedule this weekend.
Live coverage of UFC Vegas 113 begins with the prelims late Saturday afternoon at 5 pm ET/ 2 pm PT on Paramount Plus. Main card action follows at 8 pm ET/ 5 pm PT on the streaming platform.
If there aren’t any adjustments to be made between now and Saturday, the final version of the show will feature a slate of 13 fights.
UFC Vegas 113 Featured Prelim: Alex Morono vs. Daniil Donchenko
At the top of the undercard on Saturday evening, the welterweights make the trek to the fabled Octagon when Alex Morono (24-12, 1 NC MMA, 13-9, 1 NC UFC) makes the walk for the 38th time against Daniil Donchenko (12-2 MMA, 1-0 UFC,) an alumnus of both The Ultimate Fighter television series and ONE Championship. All fights mentioned herein are a maximum of three rounds at five minutes per round.
Morono enters UFC Vegas 113 having posted a record of 1-4 in his last five fights. He’s dropped three bouts consecutively, including a first-round knockout defeat at the hands of Carlos Leal (22-7 MMA, 1-2 UFC) in March of last year.
Alex Morono recently said that he plans to retire from MMA as a member of the UFC’s active roster. Saturday’s UFC Vegas 113 featured prelim is the final contest on his current promotional contract. Should Morono lose here on Saturday night, that would be four in a row and the UFC might be forced to give him his walking papers pending the outcome here.
Across the way, Daniil Donchenko enters his second UFC fight with a 5-0 record in his last five professional fights. On Sept. 13 of last year, he won his way into the UFC after a four-week delay by finishing Rodrigo Sezinando (8-2, 0-1 UFC) inside the first round in The Ultimate Fighter Welterweight Final.
At the core, the story of the UFC Vegas 113 featured prelim is one of a seasoned veteran in the twilight of his professional career going up against a promising newcomer. Who will prosper in Nevada this weekend?
UFC Vegas 113 Co-Featured Prelim: Nikolay Vertennikov vs. Niko Price
Immediately prior to the featured prelim, the co-featured undercard fight also takes place at 170. Nikolay Vertennikov (13-7 MMA, 1-3 UFC) squares off against Niko Price (16-9, 2 NC MMA, 8-9, 2 NC UFC.) Vertennikov enters the undercard on Saturday night with a 2-3 record in his last five appearances.
Back in October, he dropped a unanimous decision to Punahele Soriano (12-4 MMA, 6-4 UFC) during UFC 320. Price was not scheduled to be Vertennikov’s opponent this weekend at UFC Vegas 113.
In the run-up to the card, he was to face off against Jose Henrique Souza (8-1 MMA) in what had been intended to be the latter’s UFC debut before Souza withdrew from the show earlier on in fight week for reasons unknown.
This begs a salient question for Vertennikov’s camp: With a late change in opponent for UFC Vegas 113 on Saturday, what kind of adjustments has he needed to make to his gameplan?
Meanwhile, Niko Price makes the walk to the Octagon on extremely short notice this weekend having posted a mark of 1-4 in his last five fights. At the moment, he’s on a two-fight losing skid.
Last June, he went down in defeat at the hands of Jacobe Smith (11-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) with a second-round submission via rear-naked choke during UFC 317. Having to make the walk with only a few days of lead time is something that’s easier said than done. If Niko Price can get his hand raised in victory so soon after accepting this fight, it’ll be an impressive feat.
UFC Vegas 113: Bruna Brasil vs. Ketlen Souza
Also on the UFC Vegas 113 undercard on Saturday night, the strawweights take to the cage when Bruna Brasil (11-5-1 MMA, 3-3 UFC) meets Ketlen Souza (15-6 MMA, 2-3 UFC.) Brasil enters this weekend’s card with a 3-2 record in her last five fights.
Most recently, she scored a unanimous decision victory against Ming Shi (17-6 MMA, 1-1 UFC) in Road to UFC back in August in Shanghai. She’s been batting .500 in the UFC up to now, so only time will tell if Brasil gets the win on Saturday night.
In the other corner, Ketlen Souza has gone 2-3 in her past five trips to the Octagon. She’s been a streaky fighter of late, having dropped two fights in a row after winning two straight contests.
Last time out, she was defeated by split decision against Piera Rodriguez (11-2 MMA, 4-2 UFC) in August at the selfsame Meta Apex where UFC Vegas 113 takes place this weekend. Which version of Ketlen Souza will show up this time around?
If it’s the Ketlen Souza who won five in a row between May of 2021 and January of 2023, she’ll win, but if it’s the Souza of more recent times, she could be in for a rough time on Saturday.
Rest of the Card
UFC Vegas 113’s undercard will be rounded out by the following fights:
a bantamweight fight between Said Nurmagomedov (18-5 MMA, 7-4 UFC) and Javid Basharat (14-2, 1 NC MMA, 3-2, 1 NC UFC,)
a women’s flyweight bout matching No. 12 contender Wang Cong (8-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) with No. 13 contender Eduarda Moura (12-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC,)
a bantamweight contest versing Muin Gafurov (20-6 MMA, 2-2 UFC) against Jakub Wiklacz (17-3-2 MMA, 1-0 UFC,)
and a women’s bantamweight encounter pairing Klaudia Sygula (7-2 MMA, 1-1 UFC) with Priscilla Cachoeira (13-7 MMA, 5-7 UFC.)
