Spotify has announced that lyric translations are now available worldwide for both Free and Premium users. The was earlier limited only to 25 markets and it enabled users to tap a translator icon on the lyrics card to view translated text beneath the original lyrics. Translations are tailored to the device’s language settings and users can also easily switch back to the original lyrics at any time.In a move to match Apple Music’s recent update, Spotify is introducing offline lyrics support. When users download a song for offline listening, its lyrics will now be saved automatically. This means Premium subscribers can access lyrics even without an internet connection, a feature particularly useful for travelers or those in areas with limited connectivity.Along with this, Spotify has also introduced a new design for lyric previews in the Now Playing view. Lyrics now appear directly beneath album artwork or Canvas clips as song plays making it easier for listeners to follow along. Early testing suggests that the layout encourages deeper engagement with songs and helps users rediscover tracks they may have overlooked. Also, users can continue to share favourite lines directly to social platfroms from the Now Playing screen. For those who prefer a cleaner interface, the feature can be disabled via the three-dot menu by selecting “Lyrics Off.”
