1977.-  Mexican Carlos Zarate, defended his WBC bantamweight title by knocking out Fernando Cabanela in the third round, in Naucalpan, State of Mexico.

1996.- Russian Yuri Arbachakov retained his WBC flyweight title by defeating Raúl Juárez by decision in Osaka, Japan.

2002.- Willie Jorrin retained his WBC super bantamweight title by drawing against the Japanese Osamu Sato, in Tokyo.

2011.- In Osaka, Japan, Mexican Tomás Rojas won the WBC super flyweight title by defeating the local fighter Nobuo Nashiro by decision.

2014.- Mexican Osvaldo Novoa won the WBC straw title, defeating Chinese Xiong Zhao Zhong in a match at the City Hall in Haikou, China.

2015.- Thai Wanheng Menayothin defeated Filipino Jeffrey Galero by decision, to defend his WBC straw title, in Nakhon Sawan, Thailand.

2022.-  American Jesse Rodríguez conquered the vacant super flyweight title, defeating the former Mexican world champion Carlos Cuadras, by decision. The fight took place in Phoenix, Arizona.
