GLASTONBURY, CT — Collaborative Natural Health Partners Wednesday announced the launch of what it bills as “Connecticut’s first community-based naturopathic teaching clinic.”

The clinic, located at 131 New London Turnpike in Glastonbury, is designed “to expand access to affordable, high-quality integrative healthcare for residents across Greater Hartford County.”

The community clinic will provide low-cost naturopathic care to individuals and families throughout the region, “offering a new pathway to whole-person, root-cause medicine.”

Patients will be seen by advanced clinical interns under the close supervision of licensed naturopathic doctors, allowing for extended visit times, thoughtful evaluation, and personalized care plans.

“This clinic is about access, education, and community,” said Naturan Healthcare Partners Clinical Director Lauren Young said. “By opening this clinic in Glastonbury, we’re able to serve the greater Hartford area with a model of care that prioritizes time, listening, and meaningful partnership, the things that are often missing in today’s healthcare system.”

The clinic operates in partnership with San Diego-based Bastyr University, one of the nation’s leading institutions for naturopathic medical education, Young said. Through the collaboration, clinical interns gain hands-on experience in a real-world community healthcare setting, while patients across Hartford County benefit from a team-based approach that emphasizes prevention, education, and individualized treatment, she said.

“Naturopathic medicine is uniquely suited for community-based care,” Young added. “It allows us to look beyond symptoms and focus on what’s truly driving health concerns. This clinic reflects our commitment to making integrative care more accessible to families and individuals.”

Services at the Community Clinic may include support for digestive health, hormonal balance, stress and mental health, immune support, cardiometabolic health, and preventive wellness care.

Appointments are offered at reduced rates to ensure care is accessible to a wide range of community members.

Said Young, “The Glastonbury-based Community Clinic represents a significant step forward for integrative healthcare in Connecticut, blending education, service, and innovation into a single, community-centered model that serves the region.”
