A boy has died following a shooting in Scarborough on Thursday afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to the area of Lawrence Avenue East and Bellamy Road North shortly after 4 p.m.

Police said the victim, a male youth, suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital. According to Toronto paramedics, the victim was in life-threatening condition.
In an update on Thursday night, police said the victim was pronounced dead in the hospital.
The suspect fled the scene, police say. No description has been released.
