Liam Rosenior believes reactions, body language and spirit are key intangibles which make a big difference at a football club.
The 41-year-old arrived replaced Enzo Maresca at the start of January, and signed a six and a half year contract at Stamford Bridge.

Rosenior knows he’s under pressure to deliver Champions League qualification, and the Blues currently sit fifth, one point behind Manchester United in fourth.

Rosenior has made a good start to life at Chelsea, and has won six of his first eight games in charge, although both defeats came in the Carabao Cup semi final to Arsenal.
The former Strasbourg boss has won all his league games, and is looking to make it four wins in a row with a trip to Wolves on Saturday.

Rosenior has been nominated for the January Manager of the Month award, and was asked before the Wolves game what he feels he’s learnt since arriving at Chelsea.
“I think any manager would say before you walk into a club, you watch and analyse the games from before,” he told his pre-match press conference.
“But what’s really important to me is that you don’t use that information too much. You try and take on the information as you’re in.

“You don’t make, not prejudices, but judgements on players without seeing them or meeting them in the first aspect.
“When I come in, I just be myself with my staff in my own way and then we judge at the training session.”
Important intangibles at Chelsea
Rosenior stated a lot of what he’s learnt has been non football related, and gave three things he feel makes a huge difference to the success of a football club.
“A lot of what we’ve spoken to the players about is not football-related,” he added.
