Red Deer native Jacob Plamondon has re-signed with the Edmonton Elks, of the Canadian Football League.

The six-foot-three, 225-pound fullback was originally selected by the Elks in the second round of the 2022 CFL draft.

The 27-year-old has played 51 games from 2022 to 2025 with the club, recording 21 special teams tackles playing as both a fullback and a defensive lineman.
